Ray is a Veteran who was sitting in Post 503 in Calabash NC when I saw him I knew I had to paint him. I discovered he lost a leg and relies on his daughter for everything. He is a sweetheart with a wonderful daughter. This was painted in oil in three weeks time and will be gifted to her if not sold.
