Water Nymph in Lily Pond at Huntington Library and Gardens

Here is a painting based on photographs I am always taking on my visits to the Huntington Library and Gardens in San Marino. The venue is so beautiful, it is always inspiring.
I was intrigued by the cool, mysterious statue in a pool of water-this pond in in the section of the Gardens known as the Lily Ponds. To date, I have not found that she has a name. Having the ducks swimming behind her is pure magic.
