I knocked on the door of a house neighbouring this vacant block asking permission to paint htis stunning cove on the Mendocino Coast . Later the owner invited me to join his July 4th guests for an incredible sit down dinner in his impeccably designed mid century house with picture windows facing out across endless cliff views of the coast .
