View from McKenzie Canyon Road

I had gone a long stretch of time being studio bound with deadlines for larger work and was eager to get outside to paint again. I was hoping for a clear, sunny day on this particular day as I was heading out to a spot with mountains views with a couple of other artists, but the forecast indicated cloudy skies. With that sort of forecast, you never know which way it's gonna go. Luckily, they were spectacular clouds that displayed a beautiful show!
