Driving Past Wind Turbines, Part 2

This scene depicts a view from my backseat window in the summer of 2021 while driving from Rio Vista to Davis, California. You can see the reflections of my wife (driving) and her father in the passenger seat. I was inspired by the simple mechanical beauty of the wind turbines as well as the reflections and the challenge of the western pastoral landscape which is not as familiar to me as the environment in the Northeast where we are from. Painted with watercolor on cold press paper.
