The last of the snow melting always inspires new beginnings. I awaken to renewed possibilities and watch as the animals blink in the bright sunlight and do the same. There is still a harsh crispness while at the same time the promise of soft sunlight warming our bodies. Watercolor lends itself well to capturing the soft and the hard within a painting.
