This is one of my very favorite views in Ireland. I stay at this working farm bed and breakfast several times a year. Every morning the sun rise creates great shadows and the moisture in the air creates a great luminosity to the colors. This particular painting was painted in watercolor using small plein air paintings done onsite as my inspiration and reference. I play music in my studio from the local musicians to help my artist brain go right back to the scene.
